Shane manuevered her Hammerhead in the flight path that was assigned to her by LtCmdr Skonch. According to her sensors, there was nothing else out here with the exception of Whitestar, Oriskany, and the recovered vessels from the gas giant. Shane sighed as she maintained the course.
MCapt Vansen:
I don't know about any of you, but I haven't detected shit out here. It's like an Old West ghost town around these abandoned civvy ships, and it gives me the creeps. Wild Cards! Give me status reports!
She waited on the other members of the 58th Squadron to report in if any of them have seen anything out of the ordinary.
1Lt. Damphousse:
Ace of Spades here, I see nothing but two starships and a whole load of abandoned ships sitting out here.
1Lt. West:
King of Clubs checking in and I pretty much see the same thing over here too. Absolutely nothing of interest.
1Lt. Wang:
Joker, same here, a whole lot of nothing. This is so lame.
Shane waited to hear from Hawkes so that she could call in her report to Whitestar, and let them officially know there wasn't shit out here but two starships and a load of disabled clunkers. _________________

As Brian continuously checked all the sensor readings on the Tactical Console, along with the extended network provided by the 58th Squadron. When the Lieutenant heard MCapt Vansen report in, he informed the Captain immediately.
Lt. Postema:
Captain, Wild Cards reporting in. They haven't detected anything on their sensors, and I haven't either. Captain Vansen is asking for instructions. What would you like me to tell her, Sir?
While Brian waited for Captain Adonis to reply, he sent notice to Ensign Katang to report to the Auxiliary Weapons Station. If something happened on the Bridge that incapacitated the Lieutenant, he wanted to be sure Sara was there to defend Whitestar and her crew.

Sara had been called to stand down several days ago and up until this point was finding ways to ?entertain? herself. She kept herself aware of the ship status and what was going on despite the order to stand down from her superior officer. After all she?s Klingon?when do they ever stand down even when off duty? Her training as a Starfleet officer let her know when to check in and sure enough she found a notice for her on one of the scheduled check in points she set up for herself. Sara sent a reply to the notice that she would check in verbally once she reached the specified point in the ship. With that she left the recreational area to be on duty again.
The clink of her boots combined with the ceremonial armor she wore in addition to the Starfleet uniform could be heard as she approached Auxiliary Weapons Station. She put in her Level Four Security Clearance once she was at the station pulling up the necessary data and schematics. Once Sara was satisfied the data was secured into the station and everything was in order she did what she promised to do.
Ens Katang:
Lieutenant Postema, forgive the interruption this is Ensign Katang. I am at the requested area sir. Standing by for additional instructions and orders.
She continued on with her duty at the station like she would normally, the best she could. She understood being at the bottom ranks meant having to earn her way up but as much as she understood that she also understood the humans better then she lead on to. There were things about her only a select few would ever know, but duty was something that was universal for both races.

Brian opened a channel to MCpt Vansen to inform her of the Captain's orders to remain out there and to patrol the area.
Lt. Postema:
Whitestar to Queen of Hearts, continue to patrol the area and report any sensor contacts immediately. Whitestar out.
Quickly afterwards the Lieutenant replied to Ensign Katang's message of reporting to the Auxiliary Weapons Station.
Lt. Postema:
Thank you for your efficiency, Ensign. Please run a diagnostics and make sure the station is operating properly.
As Brian waited on Sara's reply, he ran a diagnostic on his station on the Bridge, to also make sure it was operating properly. If something was to go wrong in this area of space, Lt. Postema wanted both stations ready for anything.

The Ensign quickly reponded to the Lieutenant by tapping the companel on the console she was manning.
Ens Katang:
Aye Sir.
Sara was already hard at work making sure that the station was operational just in case that was what he wanted her to do. She knew things about Starships but didn?t say much on the matter. The Level One Diagnostic was half way through when he communicated with her. It would be only a matter of time before it would be completed. Sara waited on that with testing it's abilities and tracking what the main console was doing. Once the computer told her that the diagnostic was ran and it came back clean she once again communicated to Lt. Postema.
Ens Katang:
Diagnostic data has come back so far it is checking out, will run additional diagnostics should you determine the data not good enough the first time around, Sir.
Her highly aggressive nature wasn?t use to sitting idle for so long without some sort of relief but she knew that in order to adapt to this, she would have to get used to their customs as they would in time have to get use to her's should they choose to associate themselves with the Klingon Empire for that long.

Brian tapped the companel so he could respond to Ensign Katang.
Lt. Postema:
That won't be necessary, Ensign. Your data is fine. Thank you. Postema out.
The Lieutenant continued monitoring all of his sensor displays for anything in the area that appeared out of the ordinary.
