Office of the Chief of Fleet Operations

The XO of Oriskany was pleased regarding the kind remarks the Flag Officers made before they left RAdm Martinelli’s office. It was now time to depart, so James escorted the Doctor out into the corridor and down to the bay of Turbolifts. Their luggage aboard Sutherland would’ve been transported over to Oriskany by now, so all they had to do was go to their Quarters aboard their vessel and freshen up before meeting Capt Calzada.

Taking the Turbolift to the Observation Lounge, they used the Gangway to enter Oriskany. Once inside, both the XO and the Doctor proceeded to their own rooms on Deck 3 to freshen up.

Cmdr Kee: I’ll see you later, Doctor. We can go meet with the Captain together. I'll wait outside your Quarters for when you're ready.

James entered his Quarters and took off the uniform he was wearing aboard Sutherland and took a shower. He wanted to wash off the filth from that whole experience and send it down the drain to be reclaimed in the water reclamation system. Once the XO felt clean, he dried off with a towel and got dressed in his clean uniform before combing his hair in the mirror and giving himself a quick shave. Now James felt ready to meet Capt Calzada, he just needed to find out where the CO was. It would be an easy task to complete, since all James had to do was ask the computer for the Captain’s whereabouts. As soon as the XO learned of the CO's location, he headed for Dr. Jovic’s Quarters and waited outside for her to finish getting ready.

Now that Tony’s office was empty, he got right to work on the commendations for Cmdr Kee and Dr. Jovic for their fine work getting Sutherland home safely and for the Doctor’s investigative skills in digging up the truth about Mr. Marino. Once the work on the commendations was complete, Tony forwarded them over to Adm Arayuss for a secondary approval.

RAdm Martinelli: Computer, forward the commendations of Commander James Kee and Commander Dragana Jovic to Admiral Arayuss for a secondary approval.

SB34-Com: Acknowledged, Admiral Martinelli.

With that out of the way, Tony started some investigating on his own to see if he could find out which officers in Starfleet were bribed to look the other way regarding Mr. Marino’s application for the Command Training Program back in San Francisco on Earth. Whomever it was, the Rear Admiral knew they would lose their position and rank in Starfleet and face incarceration at the very least.
