The Commodore entered Infiniti with Lt. JG Panettiere and Ens DeGrazzio in tow. Since none of them had been on vacation, there was nothing for either of them to take to their quarters before going to the Bridge. Although this was Jayden's first time aboard, the Asst. Science Officer already had his belongings sent over and dropped off in his quarters in advance.

Como Carpathia: Well Ensign, this being your first time aboard Infiniti, let me be the first to welcome you to what we consider our home. Mr. Joffee should be up on the Bridge by now, so you can check in with him while we make preparations for launch.

E.J. walked with Jansen and Jayden to the Turbolift and took it to the Bridge where they walked out and greeted those who were already at their stations. He saw that LtCmdr Delgado was getting all of the stations online in prep for their departure from SB34 and didn't want to impede on his progress.

Como Carpathia: As you were, Mr. Delgado. Please, carry on.

With that being handled, the CO took his seat on the Bridge and observed the officers around him doing their duties. He was very pleased with their efficiency and timely manner in which they reported in. It wouldn't be long before they would be launching on their mission to bring the weapons to Sector Epsilon.

Jayden looked around the Bridge with astonishment. The Ensign had never seen the Bridge of an Intrepid Class before. It was quite impressive in it's design and he had no problem spotting Lt. Joffee at the Science Station.

Ens DeGrazzio: Hello Lieutenant, I've been with Commodore Carpathia in the Specialized Science Laboratories working with Admiral Arayuss, General Alderez, and Professor Brewer on a new portable weapon that will be effective against the Deltaurans. As soon as the Admiral is done testing it, they'll be replicating it and bringing them aboard for us to deliver to Oriskany and Whitestar. Oriskany called the Admiral and informed him they've got Intruders aboard, so that's why we're in a hurry to get out there.

The Ensign hoped he supplied Lt. Joffee with everything he needed to know about where his assistant had been and what he'd been doing with his time since he went looking for Como Carpathia. It was not his intention to remain gone so long, but when the Admiral asked for his assistance, there was no way he could refuse.

Mike looked over at the young Ensign bustling with ambition and smirked as he pointed down to the console he was using at the Science Station. The Lieutenant had already looked into Jayden's whereabouts and read the mission orders coming in from the CinC's Office.

Lt. Joffee: This works, Jayden. But thanks for telling me anyway. How about finishing up for me here while I go down to my office and make sure the rest of the Science teams check in without any problems. I heard Professor Brewer's people are bringing all sorts of equipment with them on this mission.

With a small laugh, Mike got up from the Science Station so that Ens DeGrazzio could finish getting the Science sensor palettes online. No to mention go through the tedious task of calibrating all of the sensors with Lt. Trylon when he shows up at the Ops Station.

Jayden smiled as he took over the Science Station for Lt. Joffee. He didn't mind assuming the duties at all since that meant remaining on the Bridge with his friends.

Ens DeGrazzio: Aye Sir! I'll get the station set up for you and make any adjustments that need to be made to accomodate the sensor data coming from Professor Brewer's equipment.

The Ensign used the different consoles and displays that surrounded him at the Science Station like a seasoned officer of many years. Jayden had an awesome memory and retained virtually everything he learned about the sensor systems and Infiniti's last encounter with the Deltaurans.

Jared strolled into Infiniti with his Assistant, Ens Ramirez. Since this was Joshua's first assignment outside the Alpha Quadrant, it was easy to see that the Ensign was a little nervous.

Lt. JG D'Shoua: Josh, relax will ya? You'll be fine on this mission. I'd never send you into a situation where I knew you couldn't make it out alive. I don't believe anyone's life is expendable.

The Lieutenant placed an arm around the Ensign as they went to the Bridge together. Upon their arrival, Jared smiled and greeted the friends he saw at their posts. It almost felt like a family reunion. Between the two of them, it wasn't long before the Tac/Sec Station was online.

The Ensign didn't wander far from Lt. JG D'Shoua's side as they entered the Bridge of Infiniti. He was glad Jared said he would never send him into a situation he woudn't survive through.

Ens Ramirez: Thank you, Lieutenant. I'm not thrilled with the idea of ending my life just to raise the number of casualties on a mission. If it was to help someone or save them from harm, I'd do it in a second.

Together they worked on getting their station online, which didn't take long at all. Josh's nervousness subsided and was replaced by the excitement of being on Infiniti's Bridge. He could tell by the atmosphere that this crew was like a family...that he was more than willing to become a member of.

Jansen observed the officers on the Bridge getting their stations ready for Infiniti's launch. He was proud to serve aboard this fine vessel, along with all of it's crew. There was no other place in the galaxy this Lieutenant wanted to be, then where he was right now. Jansen glanced at the updated list of crewmembers that still needed to report in.

Lt. JG Panettiere: Commodore, the crew is almost all accounted for. Just waiting on a few more to arrive...like William and Kestra...to name a few.

The Lieutenant smiled at Como Carpathia since they both knew that the two Lieutenants were very fond of each other and spent their shore leave together on Betazed. They should be arriving soon and Jansen made a mental note to pester the two of them to get all the details of their vacation.

The Commodore acknowledged the information his Yeoman gave with a nod and a smile. He couldn't resist making a comment that although was unprofessional, was typical amongst a large family.

Como Carpathia: Well if she comes back pregnant, we'll all know at least one of the activities they took part in while they were vacationing together on Betazed.

The CO enjoyed making his crew laugh during times they could afford to be somewhat relaxed. Since Infiniti was sitting inside it's berth within SB34, secured in it's moorings, E.J. knew they could afford to relax and have some laughs.

Now that the Warp Core was online, all of Infiniti's systems were coming online under the ship's power. Each of the officers at their stations were getting them ready for launch and even the CO and Yeoman had arrived. Since the Commodore didn't relieve him, Al?jandro continued getting all of Infiniti's systems online. When E.J. made the comment about the Counselor returning to the ship pregnant, it created laughter all around the Bridge.

Lt. Commander Delgado: Let's hope that's not the case, Sir. If Kestra is with child, it would be best for her to remain on Starbase 34 so that her unborn child isn't at risk when we encounter the Deltaurans.

As the laughter around the Bridge fell to silence, Al?jandro realized that his response was too realistic and lacked the humor E.J. intentionally utilized. Before the silence lasted too long, he quickly ammended his statement.

Lt. Commander Delgado: Not to mention the constant passing of gas that's common with pregnant women would be just unbearable within the confines of the ship.

The Second Officer felt a lot better when the officers around the Bridge broke back out into laughter at his recent addition. Seeing the smile on Como Carpathia's face also helped him see that high spirits once again returned to the Bridge of Infiniti.

The Marine Lieutenant entered Infiniti and immediately went to his assigned quarters to and stowed his belongings. Afterwards he proceeded to his office and checked over the Marine roster as he reported in.

1Lt. Lopez: Lopez to Commodore Carpathia, Marine Detachment Commander reporting in Sir.

As Chris waited on a reply back from Infiniti's CO, he continued going through his roster and the list of supplies allocated to his squad. He also looked forward to meeting his Deputy Detachment Cmdr.
