Hearing the Captain order the Main Energizers booted up, Cole did exactly that! Lt. Mitchell got them up and running at full capacity in a matter of moments, even though this would considerably use up the backup battery power the Event Horizon was running on. The Lieutenant figured the Captain knew this and didn’t bother voicing his observation.
Lt. Mitchell:
Main Energizers are active and running at full power, Captain.
Cole used the Sensors to scan the area in the Trivas System and found no vessels in the area. It appeared there was nobody out here to hear the explosion in Main Engineering or the smaller one in Cargo Bay 4. This was a relief to Cole as he put the Sensor data up on the Main Viewscreen for all to see they were alone in the system.
Lt. Mitchell:
As you all can see on the Main Viewer, we’re completely alone here in the Trivas System, Sirs.
The Chief Operations Officer continually ran scans in throughout the entire system making sure if a vessel did enter the Trivas System, everyone on the Bridge would see it on the Main Viewscreen. Boosting power to the Sensors allowed them to see further than they could before, but it still was limited in comparison to having the ability to scan an entire sector of space when the core was powering Event Horizon. Be that as it may, they appeared to be completely alone… _________________

When the XO looked at the power consumption display on the Center Console between the CO and himself, he could see that using up this much power at this time would kill their batteries in no time, especially if the Phasers were fully charged. Thom instructed Lt. Mitchell to cut power to unnecessary systems for the time being until they knew for sure they were safe. Even though the XO could see on the Main Viewscreen they were alone in the Trivas System, he wasn’t sure if it would remain that way.
Cmdr Cypher:
Lieutenant Mitchell, be sure to balance out the power allocation so we don’t run down the batteries too fast. For now, just give minimal power to unnecessary systems. I don’t want us lit up like a Christmas tree out here on the surface of this moon, so be sure none of the exterior lighting is powered up.
The XO turned to the Captain to tell him about his training as a Shuttlecraft pilot during his years as a Cadet at Starfleet Academy before taking an interest in Engineering, and he was GONE!!! Thom jumped up and looked around the entire Bridge to see where Capt Little went to!
Cmdr Cypher:
Captain!? Captain, where are you!?
Looking around the Command Deck, there was no sign of Capt Little anywhere! The Commander looked over at LtCmdr Graham and Lt. Mitchell at their stations and pleaded for information on the Captain’s whereabouts!
Cmdr Cypher:
Did either of you see Captain Little leave the Bridge? He was here just a few moments ago and now he’s gone!
The XO tapped his Combadge to inquire from the computer if it knew where Capt Little was.
Cmdr Cypher:
Computer, locate Captain Little!
Event Horizon-Com:
Captain Little is not aboard Event Horizon.
Thom gasped as he turned to LtCmdr Graham.
Cmdr Cypher:
Peter, Red Alert! The Captain has been abducted! Shields to maximum! Cole, allocate power to the Shields before anyone else disappears on us!
The First Officer was in a stage of almost shock as this had never happened to him before. Where could Capt Little be? There were no vessels in the Trivas System so how the Captain could be transported off Event Horizon was a mystery? These were inquiries the XO needed to know as he paced the Bridge waiting for answers on how this could’ve happened to the Commanding Officer. Thom knew once everyone on the ship learned that Capt Little had been abducted, they would become fierce and ready to fight whatever force took the Captain away from them. _________________

Chief Flight Control Officer's Quarters - Deck 1

Hearing the klaxon and seeing the light by the door in his Quarters flashing red, LtCmdr Centares knew they were at Red Alert! Ajay quickly jumped from behind his desk where he was reading the tech manuals of the ship and exited to the corridor which leads to the Bridge. Upon entering the Command Deck, the Lieutenant Commander returned to the Flight Control Station and took his seat. Seeing that the CO was not on the Bridge yet, Ajay aimed his inquiry towards the XO.
Lt. Commander Centares:
I’m here, Commander. What’s our status, Sir?
The Chief Flight Control Officer activated his console and checked the Sensors to see if there were any vessels in the area that they needed to evade. Seeing nothing, LtCmdr Centares wondered why they were at Red Alert. Perhaps when Capt Little arrived on the Bridge, Ajay would know more about why the ship was at this condition. Surely when the Captain entered the Commander Deck, the XO would fill him in on why they were at Red Alert. _________________

While riding in the Turbolift with Lt. JG DeGrazzio, Chris and Jayden heard the ship going to Red Alert! As they arrived on the Bridge, they could see Cmdr Cypher, LtCmdr Graham, LtCmdr Centares and Lt. Mitchell at their stations. The only one absent was Capt Little, who must not have arrived on the Bridge yet. The Marine Captain manned the Auxiliary Console behind the CO and XO’s chairs and could see that there were no alien vessels in the vicinity and Event Horizon’s Shields and Weapon Systems were at their maximum settings. Chris used the console to check on the status of his Marines to make sure they were all reporting in from their posts around the ship. Seeing that they were all in position in Sickbay, Main Engineering and other areas of Event Horizon that needed to be secured, the Marine Detachment Commander reported it to Cmdr Cypher since Capt Little was still not present.
MCpt Lopez:
Marines are dispatched throughout the ship in all the sensitive areas, Commander!
Chris looked over at Lt. JG DeGrazzio who had just arrived at the Science I Station at the rear of the Bridge. From there the Lieutenant JG would be able to use all the Sensors to scan the area for any vessels in the vicinity, which could’ve been missed by either LtCmdr Graham or Lt. Mitchell at the Sec/Tac and Ops Stations. The Marine Captain looked over at Lt. JG DeGrazzio and gave him a quick smile and mouthed the words
Do your thing!
to the Chief Science Officer, knowing if there was anything out there that needed to be discovered, he would do it. _________________

Thom rose from the XO’s chair and addressed those that recently arrived on the Bridge as to why they were currently at Red Alert. The Commander knew they weren’t going to like it, but they had to be told so they could offer suggestions on what could’ve possibly happened to Capt Little.
Cmdr Cypher:
For those of you who just got here, I’ll let you know what happened. Captain Little has been abducted right from the Bridge. There doesn’t appear to be any vessels in the system according to all the different scans we’ve been running, so I’m left with nothing but questions on how this abduction could’ve occurred to the Captain. I’ve read about Transwarp Beaming, but the Federation has never fully implemented it due to the health and safety concerns, but that doesn’t mean the occupants of this universe haven’t discarded those concerns. Jayden, you’re the Science Officer among us, what are your thoughts on this? We’ve got our Shields up to prevent anyone else from disappearing, but I’m not even sure if that’s going to matter if they’re using that kind of Transporter System. If that is the case, we don’t even know what system Captain Little has been taken to.
The XO waited to hear what Lt. JG DeGrazzio’s theories had on what could’ve happened to the Captain and where he could possibly be. Wherever Capt Little was, Thom hoped he was in good health and knew that the crew of Event Horizon would stop at nothing to rescue him from whoever stole him off the ship. The Commander
did
know that those responsible for the Captain’s abduction would pay dearly for it. _________________

Looking at all the Sensor data on his console, Jayden came up with a hypothesis on where they haven’t been looking so far…
Lt. JG DeGrazzio:
Here’s a thought, Commander. What if we’re searching in the wrong place? Perhaps it’s not up in the sky we should be looking, but down in the moon itself?
The Lieutenant JG used the entire Sensor Network to search below the surface of the moon and was pleased to report there was a network of tunnels and chambers over 1,000 meters below solid rock!
Lt. JG DeGrazzio:
Using the entire network of Sensors, I’ve discovered tunnels and chambers over a thousand meters below solid rock, Commander! It’s too dense for our current Transporter settings, but I’m sure with Petty Officer Florenté’s knowledge of the Transporter System, he and I could figure out a way to beam down a rescue party. I cannot detect any life signs at this distance, but the chances are in our favor that Captain Little is down there.
The Chief Science Officer was proud of his thinking outside the box, while waiting on any further instructions or inquiries from the XO. As Jayden looked over toward MCpt Lopez, he could see the Marine Captain beaming with pride over the Lieutenant JG’s discovery. Lt. JG DeGrazzio mouthed the words
How’s that, Captain?
at the Marine Detachment Commander, while wearing a big smile on his face. _________________
