Holodeck 1 - Deck 3

When the Ensign heard the Captain's kind words regarding the completion of his assignment, Luis smiled brightly as he responded to Capt Daqtorgh. There was no need to touch his Combadge again since the channel was already open between them.

Ens Garcia: Yes, Captain! I will be there right away!

The Yeoman knew that Counselor Ho had everything under control here in the bunk-room so he waved at her and left the Holodeck quickly so he could run down the corridor to the Turbolift, taking it to the Bridge. When Luis reached the Command Deck, he quickly took the seat to the left of Capt Daqtorgh and smiled to the large Klingon man. The Yeoman was pleased to be back on the Bridge and was looking forward to being part of the conversation with Como Carpathia.

Bridge - Deck 1

Doing as the Captain ordered, Cole opened a hailing frequency to the USS Infiniti so Capt Daqtorgh could speak to Como Carpathia.

Lt. Mitchell: Aye, Captain.

As soon as it was received by their Ops Officer, the Bridge of Infiniti appeared on the Main Viewscreen. The Commodore standing in a respectful manner for the Captain of the USS Whitestar. It was now time for Capt Daqtorgh to speak to Como Carpathia.

The Captain rose from his chair as a sign of respect for the Division 1 Commander as he spoke up to the Commodore who was standing on the Bridge of the USS Infiniti. Looking back at Como Carpathia, Capt Daqtorgh spoke in a humble voice...

Capt Daqtorgh: Commodore, Part One of the mission is complete! We are are forty more passengers strong and glad to report all forty are doing well thanks to Ensign Garcia and Counselor Ho.

Daqtorgh looked around Infiniti's Bridge and continued...

Capt Daqtorgh: We are here to ask, do you want us to stay on scene or go after ships on the manifest? We will be leaving your Marines on the surface with Ensign Wilson to guide the I-Double-S-C-V back to Infiniti with a new lightning deterrent system that includes an array that should deflect lightning strikes on their return. We will pick him up at Starbase 34 when we return. Ensign Garcia would like to tell you what he did to make the children so cozy and comfortable, that way it can be replicated aboard Infiniti and the other vessels when the refugees are brought aboard.

The CO looked towards his Yeoman and gave him a nod so the boy knew he should stand and speak to the Como Carpathia to inform him of all that was done to keep the Bajoran children comfortable. Daqtorgh wanted all of the refugees to be as comfortable as possible considering all they went through down there on New Bajor during the Xenomorph outbreak. The Klingon Captain was sure Como Carpathia would hear the Ensign and implement the same aboard his vessel and the others as well.

Luis quickly stood up and walked a little closer to the Main Viewscreen so he speak to Como Carpathia and tell him all her knew about the Bajoran children and the bunk-room that Dr. Tudismaque suggested so they would not feel so isolated by being separated from one another.

Ens Garcia: Well, Commodore, Sir. After we beamed up the children, Dr. Tudismaque suggested we put them together in a bunk-room on one of our Holodecks. So I ferried them from the Transporter Room after the Doctor examined them for injuries and if an embryo made it through. After they were cleared they went to the bunk-room that I created in the Holodeck and got them fed so they could rest while Counselor Ho read them stories from Korean folklore. As of now, they are all asleep and the Counselor is keeping an eye on them. I hope you will duplicate the process for the children you beam up to Infiniti, Commodore, Sir.

The Yeoman took a step back so that he was standing right beside Capt Daqtorgh and waited to hear the response from Como Carpathia. Luis really hoped the children that would come aboard Infiniti and fine themselves as comfortable as the ones here on Whitestar have become.

Hearing Como Carpathia respond made the Captain happy he was part of the well oiled machine that was Gamma Fleet.

Como Carpathia: Captain, I feel it's best that you make for the ships on the manifest as soon as possible, that way if anyone is infected you'll have a Medical Team available to assist them. Make sure you catch every vessel on that manifest, we cannot afford to let even one of those damn things escape the Quarantine Zone in this Sector.

Daqtorgh nodded in an understanding way to the Commodore's orders to leave, but there was no way Whitestar was going to depart without their Chief Engineer, Cmdr Cypher. The Commodore continued addressing Ens Garcia and complemented him on a job well done...

Como Carpathia: Thank you for the information, Ensign. I will make good use of his with my staff here aboard Infiniti. The child refugees we take on will want for nothing, within reason that is. You did an excellent job with the children and I'll make sure to pass this on to the other vessels here in orbit as well. That way all the refugees will have bunk-rooms to sleep in.

The Division 1 Commander returned his gaze upon Capt Daqtorgh and continued...

Como Carpathia: If there's nothing else, Captain...Whitestar should break orbit relatively soon. I'll inform Admiral Arayuss of what's going on and what you're going off to take care of.

Capt Daqtorgh: Aye-aye, Commodore! As soon as Commander Cypher has completed his work on the array on the top of the I-Double-S-C-V and is back on board, we will break orbit immediately.

The CO nodded again to Como Carpathia, indicating Daqtorgh completely understood what his orders were and how important it was to make sure none of those dishonorable creatures made it to another planet or base. Once the channel with Infiniti was closed, the Captain planned on having Lt. Mitchell go through the manifest and track those ships. Each vessel needed to be identified by ship name and where its current destination is, its current position and what they're carrying.

The Yeoman was thrilled that Como Carpathia praised him for making the child refugees comfortable while they awaited their arrival at SB34. Luis also wanted to be sure to mention that it was Dr. Tudismaque who suggested it, so the Captain would know as well.

Ens Garcia: Thank you, Commodore, Sir. I will pass on your praise to Dr. Tudismaque for it was his suggestion to create the bunk-room in the first place. Otherwise we were going to put the children into separate guest rooms.

The young Ensign was so happy to not only get praise from Capt Daqtorgh, but also from the Division 1 Commander! Luis wondered what would be in store for him as they went after the vessels on the manifest. Would there be more children to put into a bunk-room? Or displaced families traveling together on a disabled transport ship? The Yeoman was just going to have to wait until they broke orbit and began the pursuit of the ships that left the area before it was quarantined.

The Captain looked at the Commodore as he responded to the Division 1 Commander.

Capt Daqtorgh: The Wildcards will remain on site under the command of Major General Alderez and carry out their mission. When they’re done, they can dock on the Sutherland. We will pick them up either by a rendezvous in space or pick them up at Starbase 34.

Daqtorgh tapped his Combadge and called directly to MCpt Vansen, who was currently piloting her SA-43X Hammerhead above the extraction site.

Capt Daqtorgh: Captain Daqtorgh to Queen of Diamonds! You are being put under the command of Major General Alderez for the rest of this mission where you’ll land on Sutherland when it’s completed. We can either rendezvous in space or if need be, pick you all up at Starbase 34.

The CO looked over towards the Flight Control Station and addressed Lt. Thomas.

Capt Daqtorgh: Mr. Thomas, prepare to bring us out of orbit on my mark when Commander Cypher returns aboard.

Daqtorgh then looked over towards the Ops Station and addressed Lt. Mitchell.

Capt Daqtorgh: Mr. Mitchell, take the manifest of those ships from New Bajor that departed. We’re to run them down to look for Xenomorph outbreaks I want to know origins and destinations of the ships, cargo and passengers.

The CO turned to his XO and continued…

Capt Daqtorgh: Number One, I will put you in command of any Away Team we need to board those ships that departed the system. I will have you choose your team as you see fit, Commander.

The Klingon Captain remained standing beside Ens Garcia and waited for the Commodore to respond to the news that the 58th Squadron would be remaining behind to protect the Marines on the surface of the extraction site. Daqtorgh also waited to hear back from MCpt Vansen, Lt. Thomas, Lt. Mitchell and Cmdr Ashborn as well.

Above Extraction Site - New Bajor

While sitting in her SA-43X Hammerhead, Shane heard the sound of Capt Daqtorgh's voice in her helmet speaking to the Deputy Detachment Wing Commander which was very unusual. Normally LtCol Carrera would contact MCpt Vansen regarding any changes to their command. Shane immediately became worried that something happened to the Lieutenant Colonel. Tapping the Companel on her console in the cockpit, the Marine Captain replied to Capt Daqtorgh.

MCpt Vansen: Queen of Diamonds to Whitestar Actual, understood change in command to Major General Alderez aboard Sutherland. Will proceed there when mission is complete.

While the Deputy Detachment Wing Commander waited for anything else from the CO of Whitestar, she let the other Wildcards know about the change in command. Plus how they will be landing on the Flight Deck of the USS Sutherland when all of the evacuees have been rescued and the ISSCV has lifted off for its return to the USS Infiniti. Shane thought it would be best to escort the Marine's Inter Solar System Cargo Vehicle through the storm and then make a break for Sutherland once they were safely on approach to Infiniti.

Dylan did as Capt Daqtorgh said and began the process of getting ready to leave orbit by letting Engineering know they'll be going to Warp soon. The Lieutenant responded to the Captain to acknowledge the order that was given to him.

Lt. Thomas: Understood, Captain! We'll be ready to depart as soon as Commander Cypher returns with the Security Team, Sir!

The Chief Flight Control Officer looked towards his buddy, Lt. Mitchell, to see what the Lieutenant was going to find out from the manifest that was given to them by MCpt Lopez from the surface of New Bajor. Once Dylan had a direction to set, Lt. Thomas would set a course and away they would go!

The Lieutenant did as the Captain had ordered and brought up the manifest that was sent to Whitestar by MCpt Lopez aboard the ISSCV down on New Bajor. While sifting through the large database, Cole responded to Capt Daqtorgh so the Captain knew the Lieutenant heard his orders.

Lt. Mitchell: Aye, Captain! I'm working on it right now, Sir!

The Chief Ops Officer continued browsing through the database of vessels that had visited New Bajor and checked their origins, destinations, cargo, along with crew and passenger manifests. As Cole went through all the data and created a separate column for vessels that arrived within the last 30 days and departed within the last 7 days. When that was complete, Lt. Mitchell would transfer the data to a PADD and hand it to Capt Daqtorgh for him to review.
