Bridge - Deck 1

Dylan did as Capt Daqtorgh ordered and used the Maneuvering Thrusters to break Whitestar from orbit, afterwards the Lieutenant engaged the Warp Drive to bring the Akira Class Starship to Warp 4 so they could intercept the Galactic Princess.

Lt. Thomas: Warp Four, Captain! Our ETA to the Galactic Princess is sixty-four hours, Sir!

The Chief Flight Control Officer maintained their course to intercept the Luxury Star Cruiser that left New Bajor 7 days ago. Using that as a time frame, the colony must've become overrun with Xenomorphs after that amount of time. Since the Galactic Princess was moving at Warp 2 after it departed the Kotha Tremali system it didn't cover much of a distance. Had the Luxury Star Cruiser been traveling much faster, they would've been much further away.

When Daqtorgh heard the amount of time it would take for Whitestar to reach the Galactic Princess was 64 hours, the Captain's toes clenched in his boots! That was far too long to intercept a vessel that could already be dealing with a Xenomorph on board.

Capt Daqtorgh: Mr. Thomas, increase speed to Warp Seven!

Looking over towards the Sec/Tac Station, the Captain spoke to Lt. Wolf.

Capt Daqtorgh: Mr. Wolf, standby Yellow Alert!

Daqtorgh looked forward once more, this time towards the Ops Station, the Captain gave specific orders to Lt. Mitchell.

Capt Daqtorgh: Mr. Mitchell, try hailing the Galactic Princess and inform them who we are and our intent.

The CO realized he gave Lt. Mitchell a similar order already, but he wanted to make sure he was clear in what he wanted the Lieutenant to do. If the Luxury Star Cruiser did have an infestation aboard, Daqtorgh was sure they would welcome the assistance of a Federation Starship coming to their aid.

Once Dylan heard the Captain order an increase to Warp 7, the Lieutenant did exactly that and increased Whitestar's velocity to the speed the CO desired. This would get the Akira Class vessel to the Galactic Princess in a reasonable amount of time.

Lt. Thomas: Warp Seven as ordered, Captain! Our ETA is now forty-two minutes! Big difference from Warp Four, if I do say so myself, Sir.

The Chief Flight Control Officer maintained an intercept course to the Galactic Princess, happy they would be reaching the Luxury Star Cruiser in a decent amount of time to render assistance if any was needed. If they did have a Xenomorph aboard, they were certainly going to need the Away Team from Whitestar to help them be rid of it.

The Lieutenant did as Capt Daqtorgh order and got the ship ready to go to Yellow Alert with the touch of one button on his console. Once the button was tapped, it would energize Defense Fields around the exterior of the Bridge and put all Weapon Systems and Shields on standby.

Lt. Wolf: Yellow Alert standing by, Captain!

The Chief Security/Tactical Officer ran through the database to see if the Galactic Princess had any offensive or defensive capabilities Kyle should know about. If there was anything worth mentioning, Lt. Wolf would let Capt Daqtorgh know so the Klingon Captain would not be surprised by anything.

Doing what the Captain ordered, Cole used the civilian channels to transmit a message to the Galactic Princess, identifying Whitestar as a Starfleet vessel with the intent of searching the Luxury Star Cruiser for any passengers or crew carrying an embryo inside them. If it was too late, then Cmdr Ashborn would need to lead an assault team aboard the Galactic Princess to exterminate any Xenomorphs they come into contact with.

Lt. Mitchell: I've sent a message identifying ourselves and our intentions, Captain. They haven't responded yet, which is nothing to be alarmed about, Sir. Sensors indicate the Cruise Ship is running normally so there doesn't appear to be anything wrong with it at this time, from this distance.

The Chief Operations Officer maintained the sensor scans on the Galactic Princess to see if there was anything going on that could be detected from this distance. Cole also monitored the Communications console for a return message from the Cruise Ship that was quietly heading for its next destination.

Taking out his PADD, Chase went over a list of who he potentially wanted to bring with him aboard the Galactic Princess. The Commander figured it would be best to bring along Dr. Tudismaque and perhaps Mr. Skonch as well. Along with the Doctor and the Science Officer, Lt. JG Syntranos and a few members of the Security Team that was down at the extraction site with Cmdr Cypher. The Security Personnel would be outfitted with incinerator units as to not blast holes through the decks and hull, along with not wanting to terminate a Xenomorph with its acidic blood spraying everywhere!

Cmdr Ashborn: I'll be taking Mr. Skonch, Dr. Tudismaque and Lieutenant Syntranos and some of the Security Personnel that just beamed up from New Bajor with Commander Cypher, as my Away Team when we transport over to the Cruise Ship, Captain.

The XO figured it would be best to have the Vulcan Science Officer with him, as well as the Doctor and the Assistant Sec/Tac Officer with a team of Security Personnel in case there was a Xenomorph presence aboard the Galactic Princess. Chase felt he had a well rounded Away Team for when the time came to beam over to the Luxury Star Cruiser. They still had about 40 minutes before they intercepted the Galactic Princess, which was plenty of time to ready themselves.

With a wink and a nod at Cmdr Ashborn, Daqtorgh approved of the choices he made for his Away Team. The CO then looked forward at the Flight Control Station where Lt. Thomas was seated.

Capt Daqtorgh: Mr. Thomas, ETA to Galactic Princess? Maintain course and increase speed by one Warp factor if needed.

Daqtorgh looked at the young Yeoman sitting to his left and gave the Ensign his next set of orders.

Capt Daqtorgh: Mr. Garcia, get ready to prepare another Bunk Room in Holodeck Two should the need arise.

The Captain looked forward towards the Ops Station where Lt. Mitchell was seated.

Capt Daqtorgh: Mr. Mitchell, get the Galactic Princess on scanners and start scanning it as soon as possible. Continue trying to hail them as we approach, I do not want to surprise them with our presence unannounced.

The CO remained in his chair and waited on his Bridge crew to acknowledge the orders that were given to them. Daqtorgh was quite proud of each of the officers and crew under his command. It was truly an honor to be in command of Whitestar, a position the Captain could see himself rapidly becoming accustomed to.

Dylan looked down at his console to get the new ETA for Capt Daqtorgh and figured in if they accelerated to Warp 8 it would increase their velocity too greatly, therefore Whitestar would end up passing the Galactic Princess in a matter of seconds. The Lieutenant gave the updated ETA to the Captain, along with the information regarding the acceleration to Warp 8.

Lt. Thomas: Our ETA to the Galactic Princess is now thirty-two minutes, Captain. If we accelerate to Warp Eight, we'll pass the Star Cruiser in a matter of seconds, so we'll have to remain at Warp Seven. Perhaps Lieutenant Mitchell should inform them to drop out of Warp and wait for us to arrive, since they're currently moving at Warp Two. That will decrease our ETA exponentially, Sir.

The Chief Flight Control Officer continued to monitor their current heading and maintained the velocity of Warp 7 as Dylan waited to hear if the Captain would implement the Lieutenant's idea to have the Galactic Princess drop from Warp 2 and maintain an All-Stop position until Whitestar arrived to do their inspection for Xenomorphs. That way it would cut down on the amount of time it would take for Whitestar to intercept the Luxury Star Cruiser.

The Captain thought Lt. Thomas had a good idea and implemented it immediately.

Capt Daqtorgh: Thank you, Mr. Thomas. Mr. Mitchell, send a message to the Galactic Princess with our orders that they are to put engines in full stop and prepare to be inspected by orders of Admiral Arayuss.

Looking over towards his XO, Daqtorgh continued...

Capt Daqtorgh: Commander Ashborn, prepare your Away Team and get to Transporter Room One. I'll let Chief Osaka know to beam you over on my mark!

The Klingon CO waited to hear from Lt. Mitchell on acknowledging the addition to his standing order to contact the Galactic Princess. The fact that they hadn't heard from the Luxury Star Cruiser was starting to cause Daqtorgh to feel uneasy, even though Lt. Mitchell indicated a slow response was normal for a Cruise Ship. The Captain thought that if a Federation Starship was to contact them, their response ought to be immediate...unless something was wrong!

Doing as the Captain ordered, the Lieutenant added to the outgoing message to the Galactic Princess to drop out of Warp and maintain their position on the authority of Adm Arayuss and prepare to be inspected. After waiting a few moments, there was still no reply from the Star Cruiser.

Lt. Mitchell: Still no response, Captain! I'm using the Long Range Sensors to scan the ship now to see if there's any problems I can detect...

Cole used every sensor palette available to him and still couldn't ascertain what their problem was as to why the Galactic Princess was not responding.

Lt. Mitchell: Scanners aren't picking up anything to determine why they haven't responded to us. I feel something must've gone wrong for them to be this quiet after we've been hailing them for the past ten minutes, Sir! This is damn peculiar, Captain!

The Chief Operations Officer continued using the scanners and repeating the hailing message to the Luxury Star Cruiser in hopes of either getting a response or finding out why they were silent over the Communications Network. Cole was getting anxious over what they were going to discover once Whitestar arrived at a parallel location with the Galactic Princess. Since the Cruise Ship wasn't dropping from Warp, Whitestar was going to have to match their course and speed in order to beam over the Away Team to investigate what's going on aboard the Luxury Cruise Ship.
