Bridge - Deck 1

Daqtorgh did not realize the maximum speed of the transports was Warp 6, so he stood corrected and saw no need to contact the lead ship in order to speak to their Captain.

Capt Daqtorgh: No, Mr. Mitchell. I stand corrected, no need to bother their Captain.

The Captain called out to Cmdr Ashborn, who was aboard the Galactic Princess, to inform him of the ETA of the transport vessels.

Capt Daqtorgh: Daqtorgh to Commander Ashborn! You’ve got twenty-two minutes before transports arrive! I have ordered Ensign Garcia to prepare Holodeck Two for eighty refugees from the mezzanine! Select the eighty and we will get them out of there! If you can find a leader amongst the refugees, I will greet him or her in Holodeck Two aboard Whitestar! I’m going to have the Transporter Chief beam them from the mezzanine to the Holodeck to save time!

Looking over towards the Chief Engineer sitting in the XO’s seat, Daqtorgh spoke to Cmdr Cypher directly.

Capt Daqtorgh: Mr. Cypher, as soon as the refugees start transporting over from the Galactic Princess, I am going to Holodeck Two to greet them so you will have Bridge.

The CO waited on the rest of his orders to be followed through as Daqtorgh remained standing on the Bridge. The Captain really thought it was best for the Transporter Chief to beam over all 80 of the refugees directly from the mezzanine aboard the Galactic Princess to Holodeck 2 aboard Whitestar. Beaming them over 10 at a time like they did with the refugees from New Bajor was time consuming and this way they could beam over all the selected passengers and service crew to the Akira Class Starship’s Holodeck in an instant.

Luís rose from the left seat beside the Captain’s chair and walked over to where Capt Daqtorgh was standing on the Bridge.

Ens Garcia: Aye, Captain! I will go get Holodeck Two ready for the survivors of the Galactic Princess right away! I most certainly know the drill, Sir!

The Ensign quickly walked to the Turbolift and exited the Bridge and proceeded to Deck 3 to do as the Captain had ordered Luís to do. Once the Yeoman arrived at Holodeck 2, he entered and began using the Arch to create 80 beds and provisions for the survivors that would be beaming here from the Galactic Princess. Once everything was complete, Luís tapped his Combadge and let Capt Daqtorgh know the Holodeck was ready for the refugees that were coming over directly from the mezzanine about the Luxury Cruise Ship.

Ens Garcia: Garcia to Captain Daqtorgh! Holodeck Two is ready, Sir! Would you like me to remain here or return to the Bridge?

As the Yeoman waited on the Captain to respond to his inquiry, Luís made sure the temperature in the Holodeck was slightly warmer than the corridor so it would be more comfortable for the passengers and any service crew members that may be joining them. The Ensign was paying close attention to when Cmdr Ashborn was talking to the XO of the Galactic Princess and understood why the mezzanine was so cold. So Luís was sure when the Transporter Chief beamed the 80 people over, the first notable thing they would feel was the warmer and safer location aboard Whitestar.

The Captain heard Ens Garcia and responded in a jovial tone to his Yeoman as he tapped his Combadge.

Capt Daqtorgh: Return to the Bridge, Ensign! I’m on my way to Holodeck Two to greet the passengers from the Galactic Princess! Commander Cypher will have Bridge while I’m there so he may need you!

Daqtorgh called out to his XO aboard the Luxury Cruise Liner since the channel to Cmdr Ashborn remained open.

Capt Daqtorgh: Daqtorgh to Commander Ashborn! I’m on my way to Holodeck Two to meet the eighty you send over. Commander Cypher has the Bridge, if there are any issues, do let him know.

Before leaving the Bridge, Daqtorgh tapped his Combadge once again in order to speak to the Transporter Chief.

Capt Daqtorgh: Daqtorgh to Chief Osaka! Lock on the eighty to be transported, as soon as Commander Ashborn identifies which ones they are and on my mark, beam them directly to Holodeck Two!

Down in Transporter Room 1, the Chief tapped his Combadge and responded immediately to Capt Daqtorgh as he set the Transporter Console for the task of transporting 80 people from the mezzanine on the Galactic Princess to Holodeck 2 aboard Whitestar.

CPO Osaka: Aye, Captain!

The Captain looked over at Cmdr Cypher and gave him a nod as Daqtorgh spoke to him.

Capt Daqtorgh: You know where to find me, Commander.

The CO exited the Bridge via the Turbolift and proceeded to Deck 3 where he walked down the corridor with a purpose in his step all the way to Holodeck 2. As the large doors opened, Daqtorgh could see how well the Yeoman setup the room for the arriving refugees from the Galactic Princess. Next time the Captain saw Ens Garcia, he would surely mention to the boy what a great job he did making Holodeck 2 a hospitable place for the arriving passengers and support crew.

Holodeck 2 - Deck 3

Luís heard what the Captain told him about returning to the Bridge, so he quickly left Holodeck 2 and took the Turbolift at the end of the corridor to the Command Deck. Upon his arrival, the Ensign took the auxiliary chair on the Bridge and looked over at Cmdr Cypher.

Ens Garcia: Hello, Commander Cypher! Holodeck Two is ready for whoever Commander Ashborn sees fit to send over to us! If you need me for anything at all, I will be right here!

The Yeoman remained in the chair he frequently occupied and waited for any orders to come his way. While doing so, Luís listened in on whatever was happening aboard the Galactic Princess. That way should Cmdr Ashborn have any needs, the Ensign could lend a hand if need be.

Mezzanine Area - Galactic Princess

The Commander heard Capt Daqtorgh ordering him to select 80 people to beam over to Whitestar right away; Chase just had to select them using any method as his discretion. Looking over the crowd of passengers and support crew huddled together, Cmdr Ashborn decided on moving families over first. The Commander selected them by making sure they had already been scanned by Dr. Tudismaque and Lt. JG Syntranos so Chase wouldn’t be sending over anyone carrying a Xenomorph embryo inside them. Cmdr Ashborn waved to Cmdr Skonch for assistance in waking the selected 80 to transport over to the Akira Class vessel. When the Chief Science Officer arrived at Chase’s location, he quietly gave him instructions on what was needed.

Cmdr Ashborn: Mr. Skonch, Captain Daqtorgh wants us to send eighty of the passengers to Whitestar of my discretion. I’ve chosen the families with the youngest children that have already been screened by Dr. Tudismaque and Lieutenant Syntranos. We just need to wake them so they could stand over by the clear area of the mezzanine. The Captain is going to have Chief Osaka beam them from here, directly to Holodeck Two. So we won’t have to do it ten at a time like we did with the children of New Bajor. I need you to find the families with the youngest children wake the parents and get them to move quietly over to that clearing where we beamed in. Just be positively sure they’ve been screened by the Doctor before waking them. I’ll be doing the same. Let’s get to it, Commander.

The XO slowly walked through the crowd of sleeping families and began waking the parents of the youngest children he could see. Very quietly, Chase explained to them they had been selected to be transported over to the USS Whitestar, an Akira Class Starship that was ready to receive them. Using extreme stealth not to wake the other sleeping passengers, the families Cmdr Ashborn selected moved quietly over to the clear area of the mezzanine. Once Chase sent over around 40 passengers, he looked over towards Cmdr Skonch to see him doing the same. The XO waited patiently for the Chief Science Officer to complete his task so Cmdr Ashborn could let Whitestar know they were ready to beam the selected passengers over to Holodeck 2.

Mr. Skonch did as Cmdr Ashborn told him and began waking the parents with the youngest children that had been checked by Dr. Tudismaque and Lt. JG Syntranos. When the Vulcan informed the parents they were to quietly move over to the clearing where Cmdr Ashborn already had some families waiting, the passengers Cmdr Skonch woke moved over to the area of the mezzanine where they could be transported safely to Whitestar. Once the Commander reached the amount of people to send over, Mr. Skonch walked over to the Executive Officer to inform him the task was complete.

Cmdr Skonch: Commander, I have sent over the proper amount of people to transport over to Whitestar. We should have them beamed out of here as soon as possible as to not cause a panic among the remaining survivors on the mezzanine. If they learn they were not selected to leave in the first batch, it could cause quite a stir amongst those who remained. By the time the people here on the mezzanine figure out there are eighty people missing, the transport ships will have arrived. There will be no need for them to create a ruckus at that time, Sir.

The Chief Science Officer stood beside the XO and waited for him to respond to what the Vulcan informed him of. It was apparent that Cmdr Ashborn would have to inform Cmdr Cypher the passengers were ready to beam out. That way the Chief Engineer could inform Capt Daqtorgh the time for the evacuation of the Galactic Princess had arrived. Skonch knew by now Holodeck 2 would be prepared for the arrival of the evacuees. The Vulcan calculated the amount of time it was going to take for the 80 passengers to dematerialize from the mezzanine and materialize in the Holodeck and came to the conclusion that once the process began, it would take precisely 10.34 seconds.

Chase was pleased to see there were now 80 people to send over to Whitestar, and nodding in acknowledgement to Mr. Skonch, the Commander spoke aloud to the Bridge of their vessel. Knowing that Cmdr Cypher was on the Bridge listening in, Chase informed him they were ready for them to inform Capt Daqtorgh it was time to beam the evacuees over to the Akira Class Starship.

Cmdr Ashborn: Commander Cypher, let Captain Daqtorgh know we’re ready to beam over the eighty passengers as soon as he is ready!

As the XO waited to see the nervous families dematerialize from the mezzanine of the Galactic Princess, Chase kept an eye on the sleeping passengers. Since they were huddled together from the cold, Cmdr Ashborn was pretty confident they would remain asleep until the transport ships arrived. Until then, Dr. Tudismaque and Lt. JG Syntranos kept scanning to make sure none of the people sleeping on the mezzanine had any embryos inside them.

Bridge - Deck 1 - USS Whitestar

As Thom was watching over the Bridge for Capt Daqtorgh, he heard the voice of Cmdr Ashborn call out to him from the Galactic Princess. The Commander responded to Whitestar’s XO by calling out his reply from the Bridge, before contacting the Captain and letting him know the 80 passengers were ready to transport off the Luxury Cruise Ship.

Cmdr Cypher: Acknowledged, Commander! I’ll inform Captain Daqtorgh right away!

Tapping his Combadge, Thom alerted the Captain the passengers were ready for beam out.

Cmdr Cypher: Cypher to Captain Daqtorgh! Commander Ashborn says he’s got eighty passengers ready to beam over, Sir!

The Chief Engineer continued sitting in the XO’s chair, leaving the CO’s chair empty in the Captain’s absence. Thom just didn’t feel right taking Capt Daqtorgh’s seat on the Bridge, since Cmdr Cypher was stuck with being in command of the doomed Event Horizon when Capt Little’s mind shut down while they were in another universe. The Commander would be happier back in Main Engineering, making sure all was well aboard the Akira Class vessel.

Holodeck 2 - Deck 3

When Daqtorgh heard from Cmdr Cypher, the Klingon immediately responded to the Chief Engineer that was left on the Bridge to oversee Whitestar.

Capt Daqtorgh: Aye, Commander! I’m going to contact Chief Osaka right now!

The Captain contacted the Transporter Chief by tapping his Combadge.

Capt Daqtorgh: Daqtorgh to Chief Osaka! Ready to beam the eighty passengers aboard!

As Daqtorgh was waiting on the Holodeck to greet the arriving refugees, he saw Holodeck 2 become populated and noticed them all making use of the robes Ens Garcia had it put in there for them. Tapping his Combadge, the Captain gave an update to his XO who was aboard the Galactic Princess.

Capt Daqtorgh: Daqtorgh to Commander Ashborn! We have successfully beamed over your passengers! The other transports will be here in seven minutes! .

The Captain now used his Combadge to contact Cmdr Cypher on the Bridge.

Capt Daqtorgh: Daqtorgh to Commander Cypher! I want you to contact the transport vessels and have them coordinate with Commander Ashborn.

With all of that out of the way, the large Klingon called out to the passengers and their children who now occupied Holodeck 2.

Capt Daqtorgh: Attention everyone from the Galactic Princess! I am Captain Daqtorgh, the commanding officer of the Federation Starship USS Whitestar! We are here to bring you to Starbase 34! I will have our ship’s Counselor check in with all of you soon, her name is Lieutenant Commander Kunti Ho, she will be here shortly!

Daqtorgh tapped his Combadge once again…

Capt Daqtorgh: Daqtorgh to Commander Cypher! I am returning to Bridge! Daqtorgh out!

The CO nodded to the passengers before leaving Holodeck 2 and began walking to the Turbolift. On his way there, the Captain tapped his Combadge to inform LtCmdr Ho that she had a task to perform on another Holodeck.

Capt Daqtorgh: Daqtorgh to Counselor Ho! There’s a new group of passengers waiting to meet you in Holodeck Two. If all the children are asleep in Holodeck One, make your way over to the next Holodeck and give them a hand. Daqtorgh out!

Entering the Turbolift, Capt Daqtorgh made his way to the Command Deck and exited the lift and walked over to his chair. Located right between Cmdr Cypher and Ens Garcia. All they had to do now was to wait for the transport vessels to arrive and coordinate with Cmdr Ashborn aboard the Galactic Princess. This way they could evacuate the remaining passengers from the Cruise Ship. Daqtorgh was quite pleased with the way things were turning out on his first mission for Starfleet. The Captain had never been part of a rescue mission like this before during all the time he served in the Klingon Defense Force. So be that as it may, the CO was very pleased with himself and his ability to adapt to a new situation. But, Daqtorgh knew he couldn’t have done it without the officers and crew aboard Whitestar. Once they docked inside SB34, the Captain planned on throwing an elaborate celebration for all those who served him so well.

Mezzanine Area - Galactic Princess

Chase heard the message from Capt Daqtorgh and was thankful the transfer of the 80 passengers went effortlessly. It happened quickly too, so none of the sleeping passengers and members of the support crew was able to notice. What really pleased the Commander was hearing the transports vessels were only 7 minutes away! The Doctor would be done checking over the people on the mezzanine very shortly, along with the assistance of Lt. JG Syntranos. When the examinations were complete, Chase would inform all the personnel from Whitestar to start waking the passengers and support crew to prepare them for immediate departure.

Cmdr Ashborn: Ashborn to Captain Daqtorgh! Thank you for the update, Sir! We’ll have the passengers and crew ready to beam out of here as soon as the transport ships are ready for them!

The Commander stood there smiling as he looked over at Cmdr Skonch who was standing nearby.

Cmdr Ashborn: Only seven minutes to go, Mr. Skonch! Once the transports are here we’ll make sure everyone on the mezzanine is ready to beam out of this horrible situation. We just need to make sure none of the Xenomorphs try to break in here before and during that time. That would instantly make this situation even worse. We should start waking the passengers and crew as soon as Dr. Tudismaque gives us word that everyone is clear of embryos.

The XO remained standing beside the Vulcan Chief Science Officer as they watched the Doctor and Assistant Chief Sec/Tac Officer do their tasks with due diligence. While keeping an eye on Jacques and Darsyn, Chase also kept an eye on the Security Officers that accompanied them. They were near the vents and doorways making sure they were sealed. The only thing able to make it onto the mezzanine would be the air coming through the tiny slits in the air vent covers. Cmdr Ashborn just prayed there wouldn’t be a suddenly insurgence of Xenomorphs bursting into the area where there was so many unarmed people. The result would be truly devastating, to say the least.
